Unbreakable Resolve
Hollis faced an early deficit, dropping Rounds 1 and 2 with 10-9 scores. However, what the scorecards don't show is the grit required to stay in the pocket. He stuck with it through every exchange—taking some heavy shots but consistently dealing them right back, refusing to let Paxsin run away with the fight.
The "All or Nothing" 3rd Round
By the third round, Hollis knew a standard decision was out of reach. He stepped out for that final frame with an absolute "all or nothing" mentality. He hunted the finish, throwing with bad intentions and putting Paxsin on his heels. It took immense conditioning and mental fortitude to fight with that level of aggressive intent until the final bell.
The True Silver Lining
At Alliance St. Croix, we value the person as much as the practitioner. You can drill technique all day, but you cannot teach heart. Hollis proved he belongs on that stage. Fights like this are the ultimate fuel for the gym—we have the film to study Paxsin's strategy, and Hollis has the undeniable proof that he won't break under fire. We are incredibly proud of his performance.
